Veterinarian by profession, I have been practicing photography for more than thirty years. My great passion for nature started with bird-watching.
Soon I wanted to take testimony of the observed by taking photographs, and I did not take long to turn that into my main hobby. Birds are still my favorite subject.
I have received numerous photographic awards, being the two "highly commended" I received in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year respectively in 2007 and 2008 the two prizes with which I feel the most proud.
