He has published in important documentary and taxonomic books, such as the Field Guide: Amphibians and reptiles of the Iberian Peninsula, Balearic and Canary Islands – OMEGA Editorial, SA (2011)- and received mentions and national and international awards: Asferico International Nature Photography Competition 2009 and 2010 (Italy), GDT European Wildlife Photografer of the Year 2012 (Germany), FOTOCAM 210 and 2011 (Spain), MONTIER International Wildlife Photo Competition 2012, 2016 (France), Narava International Photo Contest 2012 and 2016, Oasis Photo Contest 2013 and 2014 Memorial Maria Luisa 2012 and 2014, Montphoto International Photo Contest 2014 and 215; Photo Nikon Professional 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015; Melvita Awards 2015; I Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente International Photo Contest 2016 and runner with 4 or more pictures in the 5 last editions of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year (2011, 2012 and 2013, 2014 and 2015).

On the other hand it has made photo exhibitions in Valencia, in the province of Teruel in Portugal and Costa Rica.

In August this year (2016) Salvador has presented its first author’s book, entitled "Photographic Guide amphibians and most common reptiles of Costa Rica (A photographic guide to the common amphibians and reptiles of Costa Rica), which is now distributed in Spain (Edit. Rodeno), USA, Canada and Costa Rica and Amazon prime.
